Has anybody come up with a way of viewing or recording NewsMax Plus on Channels DVR assuming you have a subscription to it? The app isn't bad and they offer live TV plus archived options of most of their shows but it's still a separate app.

No. I had a lot of other options though. I had two M3U streaming options (one paid, one not), access via the Spectrum app, and the Newsmax app itself. The Spectrum app only worked via a Roku client but that combined with an IPTV streaming device would probably work since I heard that the Roku can be controlled via scripting but haven't looked into it further. If true then the Newsmaxplus app running on Roku or the Spectrum app running on Roku attached to an IPTV device would probably both be viable options. Obviously the control of the Spectrum app would allow for the most flexibility since it would add any channels available there -- not just the TV Everywhere ones.
