NFL football

I concede. The football game is lost.

The issue is the guide data that that local affiliate has submitted to Gracenote. As @chDVRuser said, Channels can only work as well as the guide data is.

This isn't an issue with Channels, it's not even an issue with Gracenote. It's an issue with that local affiliate.

As pre-season games aren't real NFL games, licensing, etc is way different than regular season games. That affiliate may have just picked up that game in the last few days. Whose job is it at the local affiliate office to update the guide providers that their programming has changed for Saturday? Who knows. They probably just didn't do it.

As for regular season NFL games. These are highly scheduled, highly paid for and licensed games ahead of time. There's practically never been an issue with a regular seasonNFL schedule with Gracenote. NFL is practically the most valuable thing on TV. Pre-season games, not so much.

It's possible that your local affiliate updates their programming data later in the week. As Channels DVR Server updates every morning, your guide will be updated accordingly, if the programming does in fact get on the schedule.

I'm going to close this thread as it's sort of going no where.

For reference, you can check the guide provider's database on https://tvlistings.zap2it.com

It shows the same incorrect data right now. Presumably they will fix it before Saturday.

You can report guide issues on Zap2it Feedback under "INCORRECT PROGRAMMING"
