No Audio Most Channels - ATV Beta 2018 (4.10.2332)

Installed latest ATV 2018 (4.10.2332) beta, most (but not all) of my channels play video but no audio.

I have submitted diagnostic.
Can’t upload logs as .txt/.Zip files are not accepted it seems?

For example in this log the channels “ABC HD”, “SBS ONE HD” have NO audio, whereas “7 HD Sydney”, “Nine HD Sydney” and “TEN HD” DO have audio OK.

I thought at first that Dolby audio stations worked OK but others didn’t, but it’s not that simple either.

Same here in the UK. No audio on some (but not all) MPEG2 channels. H.264 channels appear to be OK. I also get ‘Tuner not available’ on all audio-only (radio) channels. Perhaps something to do with the MP2 audio codec MPEG2 and radio channels use?

It’s not that simple for me here in Sydney, Australia.
I have H.264/AVC channels that do have audio, and others that don’t.
Likewise for MPEG2 channels, some do, some don’t have audio.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the number of audio streams the channel is broadcasting? I’m not at home at the moment so can’t test.

Can confirm that I have audio back on all channels with this build, thanks.
What was it?

Also, whilst testing this, I was reminded again that all channels in Sydney, Australia come up in SD category, even the several HD ones … any chance of a fix on that at some stage?

mp3 audio tracks were not being recognized reliably.

This should be fixed in the latest beta, please test and confirm.

Yes, HD channel recognition working well for Sydney at least, gets them all.
