No audio problems on playback for a single OTA channel

Greetings,

I'm experiencing a new challenge that involved audio on playback for a single OTA channel. I record NBC nightly news and on playback, I can hear pretty much everything except the voice of the anchor. I can hear the theme music and other background sounds and audio. I have verified that all clients experience this problem on playback. This seems to impact just the one channel.

Reading previous posts on similar concerns, I have turned off everything to do with surround sound on the server and clients. I also updated the server software and client to the latest and have even tried various server betas. I have rebooted the server and clients.

Without explanation, the other day it worked briefly, then stopped again. Right before it started working, I noted that the horizontal hold was not aligned correctly to the bottom of the screen. That is, what should have been the bottom of the screen was in the middle. Then it rolled to its proper position and audio began. When I watched the next day, it was back to no audio.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

How many audio tracks on the recording?

HDHR firmware up to date?

HDHR firmware is up to date.

Does the below provide an answer to the question on audio tracks? I should also note that other broadcasts on the same channel record and playback ok and seem to work on Channels DVR and the HDHR app.

Track #0: H.265 / HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding)
1920x1080 16:9 yuv420p10le progressive 59.94fps

Track #1: AC-4
stereo eng

Track #2: binary data
eng

Another thought on this. I recently updated firmware on the HDHR. I'm not sure if there's a connection between this issue and the firmware updates, but time frame is suspect.

Audio issues are expected on ATSC3 broadcast in some regions. It is preferable to use ATSC1 for recordings if you're affected.
