So internet is out so I thought I’d watch some broadcast TV... but channels app says ‘no channels’, so I re-scanned. it showed it was finding channels but when I go to watch I still don’t see them. Tried my other appleTVs, same issue and my phone also does not have any channels. What gives!

Are you using Channels DVR or live tv only?
Does the HDHR web page show channels? Can you scan there?
So, by the time I had a chance to check, the internet was back up and it was working as normal. It has not re-occured.
I have live TV only, no DVR as it's only something we use occasionally. to the point we only have the one antenna hooked up to the HDHomerun and the channels app for the AppleTVs and iOS devices in the house.
So, is internet access required now? if so it kind of defeats the purpose of having our OTA TV set up this way.
