Hi,
I can login to the DVR and its recording some shows, but on the ATV I do not see the DVR tab.
Checked and unchecked the bonjour tab but no DVR tab.
Running iOS 10.2 and the Beta Channels App
What does it say under the Bonjour box?
Advertising dvr-smallnas.local. via [192.168.1.3]
I’m going to install on my ubuntu system, maybe the issue is the lower power qnap NAS
What is the ip of your Apple TV? It should show up either way…
So on all the ATV running 10.1 its fine. Just the one I have running 10.2 and the Beta Channels does not see the DVR.
DVR now running on Ubuntu. Everything is on the same 192.168.1.x network
Sounds like something got pretty messed up on that second ATV, since you can’t even delete and reinstall the regular app on it. Recommend you do a full reset on it.
I’m having a problem reinstalling the App Store app also. In the App Store the download/install button is a white rectangle with a circle in it. Nothing happens when I click on it. On my ATV home screen there is a grey icon with rectangular and circular grid lines named -2359114757456452803. I try to delete it and all I get is “waiting”. Restarted, no luck. Unplugged, no luck. The beta is working fine. Sounds like I needs to reset to factory settings and reload everything.
Are you on tvOS 10.1.1 or 10.2 ?

I just reset and reinstall its all back to normal now and I see the DVR tab
