No guide data for Circle Network (Chicago OTA 2.5)

Circle was added to Chicago 2.5 several months ago or more, yet it still doesn't have any guide data appearing in Channels. How do I find out where the disconnect is? Is someone still not providing guide data even though this channel has been on the air for quite some time?

Did you try assigning guide data to it under Manage Lineup?

It doesn't appear in my channel lineup:

I can search All Lineups and add Circle from there, but it appears it is off by an hour.

Circle has also been broadcasting the the NYC DMA #1 on Ch 2.5 as CBS sub-channels with no EPG assigned to it.

yes it has.

Since gracenote has no EPG for WCBSDT5, try mapping it to WLNYDT5

Searching for and assigning it to WBBMDT5 seems to have worked. Thanks!

What causes channels like this to not show up in a channel lineup to begin with?

Most likely gracenote was slow to add the sub channels carrying Circle. Appears they still haven't for New York.

If it shows up in the Official HDHOMERUN app, I think doing a Sync Station Mapping in the Channels DVR web admin UI for your HDHR tuner source will bring it into Channels DVR (you may have to hold the SHIFT key when you click it)
