No Guide Data

Installed the app last night. Tuner works. Channels come through great.

The guide however, powered by Gracenote - not working at all. Channel call signs show up - no logos or data.

Hi, which model HDHR are you using?

Did you click “Select TV Provider” on the Settings tab, to the right of your HDHomeRun, and enter your zipcode there?

I’m a dummy. That fixed it.

Im actually a very tech savvy person and missed that step. Apologies.

Maybe a wizard for setup down the road?

Yea, a wizard is sorely lacking. We can probably rename “Select TV Provider” too, to make it more clear that it’s required. I’ll change it to “Setup Guide Data”.

This step is only required for user who have the legacy HDHR units, and we’re working to remove it if possible in the near future.

And second, - yes. Renaming that would likely make it clearer - great idea.

My guide data is out. Australia/Perth? Don’t have the option in Setting tab. To the right of HDHomerun Connect is “manage - scan for channels” no option for Gracenote or region etc

Was the guide data working before? Try restarting the app.
