No Login Form Found - Verizon Fios

I have been using channels DVR for 51 weeks with no issues. I have 3 sources. TV Everywhere DirecTV (169 channels). TV Everywhere Verizon Fios (170 channels). Pluto TV (347channels).

I noticed recently that many of the NBC channels were failing. I rescanned all of the channels for both the DirecTV source and the Verizon Fios source. The DirecTV rescanned at about the same amount of channels. The Verizon FIOS went from 170 channels to 80 channels.

All of the NBC channels came up with an error - No Login Form Found.

Yes, I am able to login and watch all the NBC channels via stream at NBC Live on the web.

I have attempted to remove the Verizon Fios Source and add it back in using the confirmed correct credentials.

When I did this an error window pops up stating that "no login form found" "additional subcription required - to watch nbc entertainment you must subscribe to a fios tv package that includes nbc entertainment, such as Preferred HD and above."

This is not the case as the subscription includes all of these nbc entertainment channels.

Please advise me on how to fix.

Are you on fios internet and using someone else’s fios credentials? That’s the error you get in that scenario. Use a vpn to scan fios, then turn it off. It bypasses auto authentication.

Thanks very much. When I first started with Channels I was a comcast intenet customer. I use a family member's Fios TV credentials that lives elsewhere. I have since changed to FIOS internet. This explains the channel scan problem for the FIOS TV source within Channels DVR.

It took me 15 minutes to figure out how to add my NordVPN to my synology NAS where Channels runs. Once I got that working I re-added the FIOS TV source with no issues. 160 channels as before. Thanks very much for your help. Problem Solved!

By the way, I notice that with the VPN Active the channels seem to tune faster on my TV vs. when just pure FIOS internet.

Is there any advantage to having the router use the VPN 24/7 in terms of Channels performance?

Many TVE channels do not work over VPN

Thanks
