No option to “Create Pass” for Formula 1 on Channel 4 (UK)

The “Create Pass” option doesn’t appear for live Formula 1 programmes on Channel 4 (UK).

How can this be resolved? I’d very much like to be able to tell Channels DVR to record every qualifying session and race.

Just to jump in on this subject, when the DVR records the F1 programme, it splits the ‘build-up’, ‘race’ and ‘reaction’ into 3 separate recordings which is a bit of a pain, epically when you have default padding set to +1mins start and end.

Is there any way autoplaying the recordings or having them record as one?

Maybe this is something else that will benefit from adding support for “EIT Present/Following information” to Channels (so that recordings start/stop based on a real-time data stream from the broadcaster, instead of EPG timings) could help with, as then you wouldn’t have the uneccecary extra minute or two at the start/end of recordings.
