No sound from one channel except on iPhone

I'm getting no sound from one local channel (WAGA, channel 5, Atlanta, GA) except for one case:

  • iPad live, no sound
  • AppleTV live, no sound
  • Channels DVR recording, no sound
  • iPhone live, sound is just fine

I unplugged, waited 5 minutes, and plugged the HDHomeRun Prime. No change.

Given that one device works, I'm not quite sure where to go next with my troubleshooting.

Please submit diagnostics after trying to play something and not hearing sound.

You can try changing the Surround Sound option on the app to Off.

Nothing like asking for help from the community to resolve an issue. I went to play a sample and submit the diagnostics and the sound is now working perfectly on all devices. Thanks and sorry for the bother.
