No TCM available in Guide with YouTube TV

2026-10-12:

I was able to login to TCM with my YouTube TV credentials (no 2FA) at the following site Watch TCM: Watch Live TV but when I add YouTube TV to my sources TCM is not being added. Can someone at Channels change the login script for adding YTTV to your sources to go to TCM at the above location for gaining login access to TCM? Thanks.

Go to the Manage Channels for the YTTV source in the Channels Admin and rescan that single channel and see if it will authenticate.

Since TCM is not showing up as a channel in my YTTV sources, I don't see how I could rescan or manage it. I've deleted and re-scanned all and new channels for YTTV as a source numerous times. After completion, Channels says there are 67 channels in the YouTube TV source, and TCM is not one of them. Most of the channels are what I would call "junk" channels like news channels in certain cities, etc. I've looked at the log file, and there are numerous issues re: authentication. A scan takes approximately 15-20 minutes because of all of the retries. I have the News and Sports package at YTTV.

Is TCM included with the Sports and News Package?

Yes. I can login at the website I mentioned using my YTTV credentials. I think the problem is that Channels login script uses another url for logging in at TCM. I get "Congratulations! You're now ready to watch on mobile, tablet or the web." after logging at Watch TCM: Watch Live TV after supplying my YTTV email address and password.

I use the YTTV main package and there are 90 channels for TVE, including TCM. When looking at the channels included in the Sports and News package on the YTTV site, it does not include the TCM channel as far as I can tell. I would assume that is why the Channels TVE list is excluding it. Maybe someone else using your package can chime in and see if it is included on their TVE list.

I just signed up yesterday and I see that I need to change packages to get TCM. Let me switch to a package which includes it and see if I can get TCM added. Thanks.
