I have two HDHomerun Quatro units, 8 tuners total.
Both on the network and details can be seen from their IP addresses. Latest firmware installed on them.
Both are seen in the ChannelsDVR server, tuned in, and available.
Recently, I have been getting the message 'no tuners available' when trying to watch a 5th channel. When I get this message I check the tuners...
One has all 4 tuners used, but the other has 4 free, and ChannelsDVR is not using it.
Any help appreciated.
Is guide data assigned to the tuner on the DVR web UI?
Yep, there's channel guide data.
ChannelsDVR used to use random tuners as well, for example it would not necessarily use all the tuners on one HDHR before using the other tuners. It was very random and worked great.
It just doesn't want to use both of them anymore.
Please click Help > Submit Diagnostics on the dvr web UI

Just did a rescan for the 2nd HDHR and now it's fixed.
I took a look at the tuners while on the nvidia shield, and the 2nd wasn't showing channel icons.

I too have two quad HD Homeruns for eight tuners and last night noticed the "All Tuners in Use" Error with five planned recordings. It appears the app figured out to use the second HDHomeRun and the show was recorded, but why the error??? I've sent my diagnostic logs in as 24903625-a95d-4425-b870-80dd53503217 and provided an edited version of the log below. Hope this helps.

Tried to playback show it said it recorded on second HD HomeRun. I could see the thumbnail for it in the GUI, but 'Play' just didn't do anything (Apple TV or Browser). I could see the file on my nas and even play the mpg through Qucktime Player. So I selected show and "Prune Missing Recordings". Received the errors below for two episodes and now al 78 episodes are gone. New log sent as e35e8c1a-9953-4d39-b1df-cef50d497664

Found the 78 episodes in Trash, so was able to restore and can now successfully play them back. So now it's just the question of the ERR, which it solved. So is it an ERR or just unfortunate wording in the logs??? 
Not sure what you're confused about? One HDHR was busy and when we tried to use it there was an error, which was printed the logs. Then the second HDHR was tried because the first errors, and that worked.
All good then. Sorry for the trouble. Since it failed over as planned and expected, I wouldn't have thought to see an ERR message (i.e. something failed, investigate). Again, thanks. Great product!
