No Tuners Detected

Channels had been working without a problem for months, but I am now receiving the dreaded “NO TUNERS DETECTED” message when trying to use Channels on my Apple TV. However, HDHR can be accessed by the Channels iOS app and by HDHomeRunView on my MacBook Air.

ATV show 5 dots signal strength. Program preview icons are loading and Top Shelf is available. Can’t add the HDHR manually and re-starting the HDHR does not help.

Here’s my setup:

ISP: TimeWarner Cable
Modem: Motorola SURFboard (SB6141)
Router: Linksys (EA7500)
HDHomeRun Extend (HDTC-2US)

Apple TV 4th Gen (A1625)
tvOS 10.0
Channels 2.0.1

Very strange. Usually that means there’s a network issue, but sounds like Top Shelf and other apps are working fine.

You can try restarting the app… double-click Home (next to Menu) and swipe up.

You could also restart the ATV to see if that helps.
