Non-Docker source for PlutoTV and Stirr m3u playlists and EPG

Wow and that's 2 month old news.

I’ll look into this tomorrow but I suspect it’s what @mjitkop said

I never watched STIRR, but their website isn't showing any guide data, although a few channels stream there. https://stirr.com/live?channel_id=5288

Thanks, Everyone. Chrome Capture will do the job for Comet TV, I suppose.

Comet has its own free stream on channel 6751, assuming you have at least one TV Everywhere source.

Well, the STIRR code on nocords.xyz is based on this repository:

And it has links to the following which aren't really working anymore:
https://ott-stationselection.sinclairstoryline.com/stationAutoSelection
https://ott-gateway-stirr.sinclairstoryline.com/api/rest/v3/channels/stirr

So if @robbiet480 can figure out a way to fix it, I can incorporate those into nocords.xyz.

Just get a free SlingTV account and add it in to Channels and that will get you the free TVE stuff including Comet.

There's nothing to fix, unfortunately. As highlighted above, Stirr as a live option is dead for at least the next several months.

My advice is to remove it from nocords to alleviate any confusion.

I was looking to downsize from Hulu + Live to just Hulu. I didn't realize I would keep some TVE stuff in the process. I will look into the free SlingTV account. Thanks!

@HankLloydRight I've noticed that the Jamie Oliver Channel using both your and Matt's playlist/epg isn't getting season and episodes. Is that because of PlutoTV? When looking at the channel directly in PlutoTV I can see seasons and episodes.

This how it shows up in Channels using either.

This is how it shows up in PlutoTV.

Unfortunately I can't give you a good answer, as my script depends on the original Pluto script by @maddox. And if Matt's playlist is returning the same thing I'd have to assume it was a change on Pluto's side.

It's in the guide data being pulled from Pluto

Looks like some series are like this and some aren't. Perhaps it's a PlutoTV problem that isn't easy to develop around.

Is there a Plex nondocker version as well by chance?

Ahem

I appreciate it. But what is pip install and python? Sorry I am stupid when it comes to all of this.

Just install python 3.11 for windows and be sure to check to install pip in the installation options

Is python lunix or wondows? I apologize for being confused. But this is far beyond my grasp of windows.

It's both. You could use python on both

Did not know that. Thank you.
