Since the actual content streams are still requested by, and delivered to, the end client, they're still able to collect that information.
No, that's not the way it works for anything besides the fact you are watching a stream...but quite frankly, it's not worth my time arguing about it.

Also, why not go ahead with your plan? CHDVR only said not to discuss $$$ for your service here. I'm guessing they don't care about what's been up here for years already. I used it the entire time it's been available, and it would make no sense for you to shut it down because you couldn't discuss finances here.

FYI, Pluto still plays on the old Google Live Channels app
It plays on their website too, but what does that have to do with Channels DVR?

The beauty for most of us is that we can timeshift with ChannelsDVR. Personally, I use Pluto very little, but the relatives sure enjoy it when they are here.
It's everything I can do to make time for the sports I'm addicted to. Tonight, for instance, is a crap night on the NBA schedule, so I will likely catch a movie on Pluto, and I can pause it with ChannelsDVR and get up to grab a drink or visit the men's room without missing any of the show.

How is anything I'm doing cut into Skydance's revenue model? If anything it could be easily argued that I'm providing more viewing opportunities for ads.
I also moved over the Jon's docker and Pluto is alive! I just wonder if it supports the "PLUTO_CODE=local" which enables me to see the Orlando weather.
Again, glad to have Pluto back so quick...since it is a household favorite.

Can't be much help here as I lean on an over-the-air antenna for all locals. I did look through the list of Pluto channels and see my local CBS station but maybe that's an everyone thing instead of catering to me (as I see several other remote CBS stations too). That's easy enough to try when you set it up in Docker, just slug it in as an environment variable and check... and/or try it without that option and then try it with and see if the desired station(s) shows up.
I never said that. Lawyers don't really need a reason to go after people who charge for access to their intellectual property. They just do. Channels doesnt care if you make a plugin to their app that lets people see Pluto. They do obviously care if you do that and mention charging people for your costs.
I'm only the messenger. Why don't you ask them?

For the fourth and last time, the mp3u and epg links themselves are not IP. All that info is FREELY available via their API.
I'm done here, it's pointless to argue this.
