Lately when tuning into BTN on my Shield TV the app crashes when it goes to commercial. it does not happen on my Android Phone and the DVR logs just says that the connection was opened and the connection was closed and appears normal. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
What if you change Settings > Playback > Advanced > Video Decoder
That seemed to fix it, but today the channel won't start at all. Looked at the log and it looks like authentication isn't working for that channel. I use Hulu and the message is that TVE Authentication failed for BTN Provider Hulu.
FS1 and FS2 seem unaffected when I scan for channels, but I have now lost BTN and Fox Deportes. Also, Hulu and Fox Sports apps work fine with my credentials, so they are part of my hulu package.
Oh and I am on the current 10-17 prerelease build
Are you able to view the big ten stream with your credentials via a web browser?
Yep I am able to access it via Fox.com/live and they work fine. Validation seemed to take nearly a minute, so maybe it is timing out?
