Occasional buffering when streaming TVE to multiple clients simultaneously

whenever i try to watch the same TVE stream on multiple clients, it seems the second (and any subsequent connections) will always encounter occasional buffering unless i pause and get a little behind live. is there a setting somewhere that can control / prevent this?

Is this happening when local or remote?

local

the second connection is always ahead of the first...makes it seem like it's starting the second connection at wherever the current point of the stream is, and then at some point it can't keep up so it stops to buffer. going back a few seconds seems to resolve it (usually even just a 7 second skip back is enough)...

Is the is Tuner Sharing feature perhaps?
Would disabling Tuner Share in the clients apps have any effect on TVE streams?

Tuner sharing is always on for TVE/Locast streams.

This is a known issue related to TVE that we haven't come up with a good solution for yet.

We will be having discussions internally on the best way to make this experience better.

So. Does that mean that, for TVE, regardless of Tuner sharing on or off, the sever opens and uses only one data stream, then distributes that to all clients? So i can have 5 active clients, but only one channel data stream exists?

And not, that each client has its own dedicated data stream?

Correct. That's exactly what tuner sharing means.

We have a fix for this issue in the latest prerelease.
