Any thoughts on that extra history channel?
Probably Xteve or some other software running on the same machine.
It's your "TVE remap". Your Channels instance is serving it twice: your DVR is first recording "628", which is then streaming from 6044.
To alleviate this, make your actual TVE source above the remap for the priority, but reverse that for your clients.
No sir, that machine hosts plex and channels DVR, nothing else and I have no other clients watching...
Could it be because I have the TVE channels remapped to use local provider numbers?
If that were the case the THIS IS US recording should have one as well though.
I'mma try it but how come this is us didn't have a TVE doppelganger?
Unless your This Is Us is set to use a particular channel? Check your passes and verify.
(Manual recordings are always channel-specific)
I'll check that too.
I altered the order, nothing changed in terms of the loopback watching going away and checked the passes, none of my recordings are set to a specific channel.
The in progress recording will continue but your changes should apply for the next recording.
No luck, after changing the order I started a recording on the same channel and the same loopback watching showed up.
You have 628 mapped to history. What is the confusion?
I guess it's because of the mapping to the m3u8 for TVE it shows up twice? Does that mean it's taking up double the resources?
