I switched from a hybrid PC/NAS setup to just a NAS setup and added a new NAS in the process, replacing the old one, to add more storage space. I successfully transferred all of my recordings to the new NAS and got the new NAS configured on the app. Everything appeared to be working well initially, however each time I close the app, I have to re-configure the DVR settings in the Channels app. The old NAS's IP 192.168.0.35 keeps showing up, instead of the new NAS, 192.168.0.31. The old NAS is still in service, just not used for Channels anymore. The new NAS is used solely for Channels.
I completely uninstalled the Channels app on my Amazon FireTV stick and re-installed it, then configured my new DVR using the IP for the new NAS. The new NAS would work fine until I closed the app. I deleted the old recordings off of the old NAS and even left the old NAS disconnected from the network while configuring the app for the 2nd time, but that didn't solve my problem. The old NAS IP address still shows up in my Channels App.
Any suggestions on how to get the app to retain the IP for the new NAS and stop replacing it with the old IP address, short of reconfiguring both of my NAS's?
