so, why is it that my old ipad 2 can not connect to the local server on the web browser .
I was trying to use it to watch shows through that bc there is no app supported . so i cant even see the sever on the browser either ?
Sounds like a networking issue. It’s just a website, there’s no reason it wouldn’t load on your device.
it's very strange because it works fine on my iphone . it wont work on an Old ipad 2. I even reset this old thing erased it and new setup . i type in the the local network in browser and nothing ! goes to white screen
also wont allow me to login to channels on the web browser .
i go to this on old ipad and just endless loop loading ...
i am just trying to have an old ipad to use it for this purpose but strange just does not connect
Oh, a white screen is very much different than "can not connect". It's probably because the browser is too old for the version of our UI framework and it is not rendering it. An iPad 2 is very very old.
i figured . as. this is old tech . thought it may work . but a no go on that . thanks
Maybe try installing Firefox or chrome or some other browser?
It won't make a different. All browsers on iOS/iPadOS must use the system webview controller. Chrome cannot use Blink, and Firefox cannot use Gecko. Everything must use WebKit.
Yeah iPad 2 only goes up to os 9.3.5 . No other browser is compatible . Won’t install.
