How hard would it be to have a setting for a dimmed area / semi-transparent bar on the bottom of the screen where TV Logos appear?
If you use an OLED as your main TV and leave it on news most of the day, it will wear out whatever color of pixels the logo is made of within like 3yrs or so. Its not actually burn in. But I put in title because its familiar term.
There is a logo dimming option in my 2019 LG OLED menu that correctly identifies the logo, but it only dims by like 20% or so on max setting. We need something to dim like 80% and then for it to remember to dim it for that channel every time.
I think you could attract new Channels DVR users JUST for this feature. My workaround is to bring up the guide or other menu and let the video play in the small PIP window.
