"On Later" ignores preferences

The On Later list is mostly filled with irrelevant shows, no matter what I select for preferences in Fine Tune. Seems like anything flagged as "new" has higher priority, which is most definitely not what I want. I am seeing lots of sports and foreign shows which I have zero interest in, even though there are hundreds of available shows that should match my stated preferences. I have to page down a few times to actually see what I am interested in. The problem seems worse in the On Today segment.

There are already two sections dedicated to new stuff below... New Shows and New Seasons. It makes no sense to override the priority of the On Today section with all kinds of random and irrelevant shows, only because they are tagged as new.

Yeah, this is one of the reasons why I want jump forward and back button days added to the guide. With only favorites in the guide I can quickly find shows, sports etc. of interest to me, IF I can navigate the guide quickly. Right now you can't.

I also found On Later to be fairly useless, in other words. To me it's somewhat equivalent to TiVo suggestions which were also useless to me. I also fine-tuned mine and gave up on it rather quickly.

Good point GTFan. I personally find the On Later feature to be quite handy, and it seems to do what is intended, for the most part. The main problem I see is that anything tagged as New gets added to the top of On Today, regardless of the preferences set in Fine Tune. Once I scroll past the mostly-useless suggestions at the top, then I see the shows that match my Fine Tune preferences.
If you go down to the New Shows and New Seasons sections, you will see that those are the same shows that appear at the top of On Today, which is precisely the problem. The software is prioritizing anything tagged as New above our preferences.
