When I start ATV 4K and move over to the Channels App…the tiles that usually show what is “On Now” for 2 channels usually show way out of date shows. I can then go to the guide, which is up to date, and watch a show, and then exit out to the ATV 4K home menu and still have old show tiles. Eventually it updates.
To clarify, these are the preview tiles on the ATV 4K Home Screen where you see previews for different apps (eg. Netflix) installed on the device as you move/navigate over to each apps little “chiclet”. The tiles inside the Channels App itself update fine.
That’s called the Top Shelf and it runs a mini version of channels as a separate app.
It updates whenever you focus it… should be pretty fast but it depends on your DVR server. Your NAS is pretty underpowered so that might be why.
i believe the NAS has a dual core 1.8 GHz processor and 1GB of RAM. I know it’s not strong enough to transcode, but wouldn’t expect it affect this capability.

Ah, I misread the model number. Yea it seems like performance shouldn’t be an issue.
When you say eventually it updates, how long is it taking?
