One of my TV's just scrolls while all my other TV's are working just fine

I read numerous posts about this situation. None of them seemed to correct the problem. We then went to our Sony Bravia Tv's help screen and it suggested we do a forced shutdown. This process involves aiming the remote at the tv, pressing and holding the power button for 5 seconds. This then forced the TV to shutdown. In abut 50 seconds, the TV came back on and went through a new TV start-up. When that was completed, the TV now worked just fine. I hope this helps someone else
