I've took the plunge and installed channels on an intel nuc running ubuntu, and got an hdhomerun arriving tomorrow.
Maybe I'm just terrible at finding stuff (honestly, I've searched!), but is there a guide to adding links from the guide to specific content within apps on the apple tv?
For example, sky sports 1 on nowtv etc. etc.

Just an fyi, what you’re describing is possible, but is some super deep custom stuff and not something that’s exactly a first tier feature.
You should be able to find some help on that from the fans on this forum.

I was inspired seeing this youtube video, but the creator doesn't detail how he does it unfortunately. I've asked in the comments, hopefully he will help.
I'm comfortable with techie stuff (I work in the software industry).
