Option for liveTV when server the Channels Server is down

Hi,
I have my AppleTV Channels App set to start on Recordings. I came across a small issue today. My Channel Server (My Cloud Ultra EX2) needed a firmware update and had stopped working. I started my Channels App and received the error message that it could not connect to the Channels Server.

Is there a way to go to Live TV?

Sure! Load the HDHomerun App, and use that on your AppleTV instead of the Channels app during those times.
