My use case is to have a few virtual channels for running marathons of shows. I set up a pass to record a limit of 10 episodes for each show, and to only keep the unwatched episodes. (I think this should make it so when I watch an episode from the library, the watched episode is deleted and back filled with a new recording).
I hooked up a virtual channel, and I’d love if the watch state synced up, so that as I watch 1 or 2 episodes from the channel, they get marked as watched, deleted, and then 2 fresh recordings take their place.
I sort of see it as having a buffered marathon ready at all times, without needing to explicitly burn my drive by always having the pass record fresh episodes and deleting ones I never watched.
