I'm very new and still learning. I currently have Spectrum TV Essentials and YTTV. Even though I can stream and record my local channels through the YTTV app, only ABC and NBC show up in the Channels guide. Can I add an OTA antenna without having an HDHomeRun box to get my locals? TIA 
The HDHomeRun is required to convert the antenna signal into a format that apps can use.
Thank you. Does it have to be an HDHomerun or can it be any TV tuner? I already have a NAS plugged into my router.
Channels DVR supports only HD HomeRun tuners at this time.
