Is there anyway to setup channels to allow out of network streaming? meaning on the same network it works but when i try accessing on my phone away from home it will not work.
What doesn't work? What error message is shown?
on my Linux box i get Your router can't be discovered. Enable port forwarding for TCP port 8089 manually. and on my channels when i try to connect a new source it says it can't be found.
when trying to connect to channels dvr i do home and enter ip address and get a channels dvr server was not found.
You need to login to your router and add port forward for TCP 8089 going to your Linux machine.
On the app you have to select Connect > Away from Home
