No, its not just for DVR, but when you think about it I bet plenty of cable customers have invested more in junk equipment rentals over the years than I have in this server.

I want to know how many remote streams it can do simultaneously (transcoding)… assuming bandwidth wasn’t an issue.

Right now it’s only 200mbps upload but it can be increased to gigabit
