Is it possible to set Channels DVR to record to a temp directory until recording completes and then place the final recording in the TV directory? I have handbrake monitoring the TV directory but it tries to convert partial recordings as it sense new files in the folder.
I see no benefit in doing this .. are you using a batchfile to run handbrake ? There are many ways to check if a file is in use or growing.

Unfortunately this is not something that's possible with the dvr at the moment. The system expects to be able to write the recording to the final destination for playback while still recording.
