Running the current Apple TV beta 2020 (12.4.514) and 2020.12.05.0203 dvr. Watching live TV Locast stream, I paused the pre-game show to switch to the settings app to connect my bluetooth headphones. When I switched back to Channels, it reverted to live TV and any history was gone so I couldn't back it up past where I restarted Channels. Doesn't TVOS allow backgrounding of apps to where we can switch between apps and return where we left off. I was only out of the app for maybe 10 seconds, but other than resuming on the same channel where I was, it didn't continue in the same state.
