Payment Options

Hi,

Will Channels DVR look at accepting other payment methods than just debit/credit cards?

I don't want to cancel my subscription but may have too, especially as a new card has had fraudlent transactions against it and only companies have the details for the card

Use a Virtual Credit Card or prepaid card.

privacy.com is a good one (for burner debit cards) and offers a free tier

thanks i'm currently looking at some, but privacy.com is no good as not american

can only assume one of the 4 companies i've used the current card for has been breached - but not finding anything online

also if you cancel, does the cancelation take immediate effect or after your current subscription ends

Right, I guess New York is no longer in America?

Some good advice What To Do if Your Credit Card Is Hacked—Expert Tips

Not everyone lives in USA, thus why i said no good as not american (my apologies i missed I'm)

i've already been through everything with the bank, only 3 companies had my new debit card information for payment methods, with this card only being active for less than 3 weeks.

This is only the 2nd time within 20+ years that this has happened, with it being last month on exactly same day of month

Your bank should give you a new card, and then you just update your card information with Channels.
That's what happened with me but I'm in the USA.

I misunderstood your statement as meaning the company wasn't in the U.S.

When your current paid subscription ends. Email support if any questions.

Sounds like you have spyware on your pc. I would run malwarebytes and adwcleaner just to be safe.

I got a new card after it happening last month and this month on new card another fraudlent transaction - luckily my bank picked it up immediately and blocked the transaction - but odd as only 3 companies were provided the new card details and all are outside UK.

The latest transaction was exactly one month to the day of last transaction, which I'm taking up with the bank further.

machine is fully clean, no spyware - performed deep scan and that is clean as well

i have malwarebytes fully licensed, so know when that detects something as it set to autoblock certain sites, etc

thought I would provide an update, recent issue was caused by the bank not delinking any company/website that my original card had been linked too fradulently, so when they replaced the card they sent out notification to systems that were linked to the card, so the company with the fraudulent transactions got my new details instantly, even though they had not tried to use immediately and made it look like a subscription payment as they took on the same day of month.

I still would like to see channels allow other means of payment for users outside of US and to also decouple your accounts from the community side.
