Besides Ubiquity and their APs and PoE switches, any other good options? I could probably mount those at far ends of the basement and have a huge improvement by blanketing the floors in WiFi essentially. 1U left in my rack... hmmm
Aruba also makes APs. Additionally, you can use off the shelf consumer routers and put LEDE/OpenWRT on them, and set each one up as a separate AP using the built-in switches to interconnect them all. Heck, you can probably wire up a few Pi3s together running hostapd and use those for your APs.
(As for the UBNT APs, you can get the AC Lite for around $80-90 each or so, which isn't bad.)
