I submitted diagnostics that will hopefully help. What I was seeing was periodic hanging in the picture for just what seemed to be a couple of frames, almost like judder. This was on an MLB extra inning channel which I believe FIOS transmits as AVC HD, unlike most of their usual mpeg2 channels. I haven’t observed similar artifacts on sports on mpeg2, so wondering if it’s something in how AVC HD is being handled.
