Personal Sections not showing on Sidebar?

This is on an Nvidia Shield.

I've been reading about Personal Sections and wanted to give them a try but I'm stumped on why mine isn't showing up in my sidebar. I must be missing something. Below is how I have my first Personal Section set up.

I've tried disabling all sidebar items on the client, but even then only Home, Guide, and Search show up, no My Shows. Any tips?

The "something" you are missing is an Apple device. Unless I'm mistaken, Personal Sections have not been ported to Android yet.

Edit: according to the published documentation, it is indeed Apple only at the moment. (You'll see right under the header highlighted in purple: "Available on tvOS and iOS".)

Well damn, I totally missed that! I did notice that the older posts I was looking at did mention tvOS and iOS only, but I also saw mention (in 2024) of it being rolled out for Android TV "soon"...I just assumed that it had been. Oops!
