New to channels and have been trying to get Philo tv to import without success. I have upgraded to a newer computer dell laptop 5591 with intel i5 10400h processor, 16 GB ram, and SSD. I am using an Onn 4k pro box for the tv as it is a Roku tv. The OTA channels through HD homerun play perfectly but the Philo channels either never play at all or there is about a minute delay if one plays at all. It looks like TV everywhere doesn't work well? I have spent hours changing settings, changing to a newer computer, changing settings on the streaming box, google suggests everything that doesnt work, docker, node.js, Prismcast, chrome capture - which I have tried all. I am ready to give up. Is there a simple way to import philo channels into channels. I havent had luck as custom channels either. Internet speed is also not an issue.
go to add provider find philo type in your email get the email open and hit the button to accept than channels will pull in the info the delay is the same for all tve
Since it sounds like you are able to get Philo setup. Are you direct streaming the source. If you are watching from home you shouldn't be doing any transcoding. Streaming Quality for home should be set to Original in the app. Guess we need more info on your setup as the specs on your computer seem to be more than enough to run Channels DVR.
Is everything hard wired in or are you trying to use wifi? Did you run a speed test from the Onn 4k to the server?
Did you run troubleshooting? What chrome version does your server say it is using?
TVE generally works fine for the subset of channels available through this method. If you're hoping to get Philo channels beyond what's listed here:
you'll need use one of community projects to add them. The FastChannels bridges (ah4c and/or HDMI Capture) are the best solution currently available for being able to tune all subscribed Philo channels. Tuning is fast and reliable with one of those approaches -- it does require some additional hardware however.
Did u install Google Chrome on the PC running the Channels DVR server?
What does the Troubleshooting page (under Support, Troubleshooting) say for any issues?

I did use Philo TVE on Channels for about 4 years. It worked fine, but my wife and I did not find it overly useful. Philo TVE has a somewhat limited set of channels available, and all my wife's favorite channels were only available in the Philo app. I did not want to buy more hardware and put in more effort to get all the Philo channels into Channels DVR. Since my wife was happy even preferred the Philo app, it was fine for me. We now use the Directv Entertainment package, but the TVE is still very limited so we just use the Directv app. The projects to get all the channels into Channels DVR are fantastic and if I wanted a hobby it would be great.
