Pi 4 Commercial Skip Segfault

I just recently installed Channels on a new Raspberry Pi with the eventual goal of moving Channels off of my old Macbook. I got everything installed and started a small recording of something that was currently on. When the program ended, commercial skip attempted to run but segfaulted. I experienced the problem when using a USB hard drive, which is formatted for HFS+ since it was from my Macbook. Thinking it may be something weird with HFS+, for testing purposes I used a new USB thumb drive formatted with ext4, reinstalled Channels and experienced the same problem. Any ideas? Any other information needed?

Known bug, and fixed in the pre-release kernels. Should be in the next official kernel release, too.

Thanks for the info! I spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out what was going on. Temporarily went back to using the Macbook because commercial detection works really well, and it's too much work to manually skip through commercials! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

EDITED: So, it looks like an rpi-update will resolve the issue? I'm not too worried about having to wipe the SD card in case something goes haywire.

Yes run:

sudo rpi-update
