Pi4 DVR - External Storage Died Cannot See New Drive

I am running the Rasp Pi4 DVR Server on a USB image, and I use an external drive attached to the Pi4 for our library.

The library drive has failed and I replaced it. I am unsure how to get the new storage drive readable by the Pi4. The drive is ExFat formatted but I cannot see it in the DVR Admin console to setup a “new” recordings location. I know I can do a Restore from the admin console, but I need to see the drive first. Do I not?

Right now I just see the Initial Setup for Recording at the bottom of the Admin Console page.

The drive should appear automatically. Could you submit diagnostics

Do I need to create a Folder first on the new drive? Or, a partition so it can be seen? Right now the drive is blank just named DVR.

It's been a while since I had to do a new DVR drive.

Don't call it dvr that's probably the issue
