What firmware version are you running? Can you try upgrading to the latest (20160630atest2) using https://www.silicondust.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=119&t=20613

I’m using Version 20160328atest2, I haven’t been prompted to update.

The link you posted is from a post in June of last year, will that be the latest firmware?

Yes that links to the latest.

Does it matter that it’s for the DVR?

The firmware is for the tuner. Updates are advised even if you don’t use SD DVR engine.

The latest Firmware Release should be 20160630atest2.
Go to my.hdhomerun.com in your browser and it should check your devices.
You will see something like this.

Unfortunately, I’m still having the intermittent picture hang. It’s most noticeable with sporting events (watching the Olympics atm), the picture pauses for a split second. Audio and video are still in sync.

As mentioned before, this doesn’t happen with other apps for the Apple TV (DVBlink, InstaTV to name a couple) and indeed on the Mac (EyeTV) too.

I’ve updated the HDHR to the latest firmware.

Can you try to catch a video of this happening? How often do you see it?

Yeah I’ll grab one later, although I did capture a video before and the issue is harder to see (I guess differing refresh rates from the iPhone and TV broadcast). I see it every 20 seconds or so.

Does it happen on both HD and SD channels?

Never mind you already said it happens on both.

Let me try to make some changes in the beta this week to see if it helps.
