I finally turned on PIP to see how it functions. I like it for the most part as it behaves like setup top boxes of the past. Is it normal to have to press the watch button twice to get to full screen when selecting a new show after another ends?? Here's an example of what happens...
We're watching a recording and exit to the library. The old show goes into PIP mode in the corner and continues playback until it reaches the EOF. If I select a new show to watch and click the "watch" button, the new show goes into the PIP window. To get it to full screen, I have to press watch a second time or use the long press "Home" button and click "full screen" Is there a way to have an option to have it go right to full screen when you press watch the first time?
What playback device are you referring to?

On FireStick, all PIP is controled by FireOS I believe and not Channels. Its a little cloogy, but I use it for Live TV so I can look at tbe guide while live tv is on.
