I have PIP always on for recordings and liveTV ... In order to shutdown PIP on the Firetv devices is to simply say into the mic "Dismiss Picture in Picture"

For those that use the FireCube you simply say the "Alexa" word and "Dismiss Picture in Picture"

To go back to full PIP just say "Maximize Picture in Picture".

These will also work ...

  • "End picture-in-picture."

  • "Switch to full screen." ... will maximize PIP screen,

Are there any remote button combinations that can do these commands or is it voice only?
