PIP video window overlay issue

Originally posted to the wrong forum so apologies to anyone who might have read.

I recently discovered PIP feature switch on Channels running on Fire TV 4k stick which looks like a great feature however the PIP video overlay looks like an incomplete afterthought as video window blocks half of the clock and the program description text from the EPG.

If the PIP video window position is a limitation of Android TV/Fire TV OS, when PIP is turned on by the end user, can't the clock be repositioned so as not to overlap and the program description text box width be reduced so that it to word wraps on the next line (yes there is plenty of space) instead of text being partially blocked by the PIP video window?

I am not referring to clock or program text box "auto repositioning," in response to the PIP overlay being turned on. What I am describing is a change in their defaults, similar to if the end user was able to choose whether the clock was right aligned (current default) or given the option to center align clock. The exact clock position would be determined by the developer and clock position 2 would be chosen if PIP was turned on. The same would be true for the default program description text box width.

I can post pictures of the above if helpful but I'm guessing anyone who has tried this feature understands what I mean. Thank you Channels Dev team
