I have been running the Channels DVR on my ThinkServer TS140 with a Processor Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1225 v3 @ 3.20GHz, 3201 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s), 30GB RAM, SSD for OS, 7TB of various other drives. I primarily use this as my Plex server. Everything is hard wired with CAT6 shielded cables to a TP-LINK gigabit switch. I can watch live tv with no problems. When ever I watched recorded content I portions of the show that are pixelated/blur and sound goes crazy. I was watching the task manager last night on the server as I was watching Walking Dead that was recording but I was watching the recording as it was recording. When ever it would pixelate the disk usage and network usage would drop to almost nothing for the Channels DVR.
This was while recording three show last night. No pixelation.
This was while recording three shows last night. Pixelation on all three recording that matched the times I noticed the drop in HD and Network activity. Plex was not streaming anything at the time.
