I am getting a “Playback Failed” error message while trying to play recordings. I tested the DVR connection and it comes back good. I submitted a log.
Usually means your dvr drive got disconnected
Please submit diagnostics from the dvr web UI
I am not able to use the DVR at all. When I try using my IPad, the DVR starts and then nothing.

Well hell. I restarted the DVR and everything is working now. Thank you!
Your logs show this message:
The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error.
Could be an impending drive failure.
The drive is about 2 months old. I unplugged it and everything is working now. It just started out of the clear blue.
