Do you use any sort of screen sharing or remote access setup? If you can provide remote access I can poke around and see if something obvious is wrong.

Very weird solution; I received a message on my Mac this morning that advised that ChannelsDVR wanted access to the drive in question, I granted the access and now all is well. I tested several tv show and movie recordings. Thanks for trying to figure out with me on this one! You guys are great.
