I'm having trouble downloading some recent movies I recorded with Playon Cloud. I've used this in the past with no issues. It tries to download the file and then stops. Its looped like this multiple times for all of the files. The other ones eventually made it but this one hasn't yet.

I finally tried to download it myself directly from Playon and saved it into my folder with my other movies manually imported (non-Playon). That got the movie into Channels but it wasn't working right, it had a movie length of -27761261 minutes. It would play but I couldn't scrub forward/ backward or it just reset back to the beginning.

A couple other thoughts/ things I noticed. First when moving the manual download file to my import folder it hangs up at about 50% for a long time before eventually making it. Secondly, the file channels try to import has a 1934 in the file name (obviously wrong) but the direct downloaded file doesn't. I wonder if there is something weird about the file from Playon?

After the manual import didn't work right, I tried again to have Channels sync with Playon, but now I get this error. Any ideas what to try?

You can try clicking Refresh Metadata on that recording import in the web UI.

Sounds to me like your hard drive is dying, if you're not able to move files there manually either.

These errors generally indicate the playon server is having issues. However it could also mean the HDD is stuck, so the server cuts of the connection when the download isn't making progress.

Thanks - I should have put 2 and 2 together - my C drive was almost full. Once I cleaned that up, the playon errors went away. Still don't know why it downloaded with the wrong file name but I got it all cleaned up.
