Is there a way to modify the default storage location for PlayOn? Does it have to be under the default DVR folder?

no problem. I can just move them to the local content storage folder on another volume. Thanks for the reply.
They're already treated as local content imports in Channels DVR, but of course they are "matched" and have their metadata. If you move them to a local content import path you'll probably have to "match" some on import.
Since you're using an additional storage path, I wonder if moving them there (using same directory structure) would work?
I might give that a try. I don't record a lot from play on but don't want ot keep it on my default volume when I do.
