Plex-for Channels problem

I Do that and now I can't connect to the webpage at all. tells me,

Unable to connect

Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at 127.0.0.1:7777.

I have a Bat file that does the updates and this is how i have it composed to exacute.

Echo stop
docker stop plex-for-channels
::
docker rm plex-for-channels
::
docker image pull ghcr.io/jgomez177/plex-for-channels
::
docker run -d --restart unless-stopped --network=host -e PLEX_PORT=[7777] -e PLEX_CODE=local,us_east --name plex-for-channels ghcr.io/jgomez177/plex-for-channels
PAUSE

Minus the github of course

your plex port is wrong

Ive tried it without brackets, with brackets, I even tryed the other script line he has posted on github and i cant seem to get any of it to work.
the thing is, I had it working before i updated to 1.13 version of the container

Is there a non-docker source available for Plex ?

I use the docker container, but a search reveals you can run the same code without a docker container.

Are you running other docker images on this host?
What do your docker logs say?

Yes i am, and they are running fine. Using samsung+, and pluto containers.
Im running docker desktop for windows and using unbuntu as the intergration.
I read that windows cant process the --net:host so i tried the second line on github for instructions and tryed http://localhost:8083 to connect but it still wont let me.
Im thinking its some where in my configurations because im not seeing anything like errors in the log, only the container running like its supposed to. I keep getting connection was reset in the browser when i try. But doesnt show anything about it in the logs.

Don't use local host use the actual IP?

Tryed that too, still doesnt work.

These are my logs, not much there since my last install.

Well CRAP, what is going on, I just clicked on that link in my last post "http://localhost:8083" and it WORKED. I can bring up the page.

I know when the Plex-4-Channels container is busy fetching guide data, Channels logs an error trying to connect to it. It's like the container code is single threaded and can't respond to http requests when it's busy doing something else.

Same with his Pluto and Tubi containers.

Hmmm, maybe thats what was going on. Cause i would reinstall and try to connect right after the reinstall. Maybe i didnt give the container enough time to run before trying to connect to it.

But funny, on my other 2 containers ive not seen that issue. Anyways, its working now, atleast till the next update, lol .
Thank you guys for your help and input. Its greatly appreciated.

If you use both the publish flag and PLEX_PORT environement variable make sure the port numbers match

-p [some_other_port]:[docker_port] -e PLEX_PORT=[docker_port]

then

http:\\localhost:[some_other_port]

Gotcha. Thank you

I updated container to ver v1.14 and now i am getting this error in channels when it tries to load the m3u.

Failed to request m3u for Plex: Get "http://192.168.0.20:7001/mjh_compatible/plex/local/playlist.m3u": context deadline exceeded (Client.Timeout exceeded while awaiting headers)

Guide data pulls fine. I can go to the url and click the link and it downloads a .m3u.

What is wrong in channels?
It still shows 611 channels in the Manage Lineup, and, so far, i can still play any of the Plex channels i have enabled.

When the container is busy fetching guide data it doesn't respond to Channels.

Unfortunately Channels DVR doesn't retry.

@chDVRuser
Container is not busy. It is fully loaded and so is its web server.
I get that error with a force manual refresh.
Did not happen with ver 1.13
